Partly

A future where the world’s parts are connected

Founded in 2020 by Evan Jia, Levi Fawcett, Mark Song, Tony Austin, and Nathan Taylor, Partly is building the infrastructure layer for the global vehicle repair industry.

After five years in development, Partly’s Interpreter AI model is the world’s only foundational model purpose-built for automotive parts. This model has been trained on millions of vehicles and billions of parts, covering approximately 85% of the 1.3 billion vehicles in the world - roughly 16 trillion parts. The model makes it dramatically easier for vehicle repairers, mechanics, and body shops to find exactly the right parts for every job.

Partly was founded in Christchurch and CEO Levi Fawcett brought rare technical depth to the founding, having previously engineered at Rocket Lab. The team's ambition to solve a deeply overlooked infrastructure problem in a genuinely massive global industry made them a compelling early bet.

Since launching, Partly has grown to over 1,000 business customers across five countries. Their 2022 Series A was the largest in New Zealand history at the time. In June 2026, they closed a US$50 million Series B at a US$500 million valuation. With offices now operating in Austin and San Francisco alongside its New Zealand home base, Partly's US expansion is accelerating rapidly.
