Same mindset.
New arena.
The same traits that make a world-class athlete, discipline, competitiveness, the ability to perform under pressure, are exactly what New Zealand's fastest-growing companies are looking for.
This event will introduce IV Athletes, a community and investment fund created by Olympians Hugo Inglis and Jackie Gowler, professional footballer and Allbirds Founder Tim Brown, and serial entrepreneur Barnaby Marshall.
Designed to strengthen the connection between New Zealand’s sports and startup communities, the evening will bring together athletes and founders from across the Icehouse Ventures network. Guests will hear from leaders at the intersection of sport and business, including voices from the startup ecosystem who have firsthand experience navigating the transition out of sport and applying high-performance skills beyond competition.
