Venture Capital is aspirational, engaging, and impactful. Unfortunately, it is also largely inaccessible. Most funds, including all of Icehouse Ventures’ current funds, only accept investment from “Wholesale” investors. They also require minimum commitments of $50k, which is out of reach for too many Kiwis.

We are on a mission to change this.

Achieving this mission will mean 1000s more Kiwis are aligned to the success of New Zealand’s most promising companies.

Our experience is that financial alignment- no matter how small- compels investors to also contribute time, connections, energy, and resources to maximise the success of startups. Imagine how prosperous our ecosystem could be if 10x more Kiwis were contributing!
